Coach K Camp

Coach K's basketball camp for kids in 4-12 grades concluded today at Pearce. Of course Coach is an extremely accomplished basketball player and coach, but he is a tremendous mentor and brings deeper life skills to his camps.

He presents the concepts of pride, respect, and hard work over and over in a variety of different ways. Kids learn to behave in a way that they can be proud of, respect others, even competitors and especially adults and yourself, and to work hard to constantly improve.

His camp for kids in grades K-3 will be offered tomorrow and Friday, July 13 and 14. Walk ins are welcome.

Champ Camp Offered at Pearce

Pearce Community Center will host Champ Camp Basketball Camp Monday through Friday, July 10 through 14. Camp for boys and girls going into grades K-3 will meet July 10, 11, and 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Camp for boys and girls going into grades 4-12 will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The camp is presented by Inner Circle Sports featuring Coach K.  

Little Champs in grades K-3 will include lots of fundamentals, guest speakers, and fun. Champ Camp for grades 4-12 will begin with ball handling and progress into shooting, foot work, position development, down low play, and energetic defensive drills. The camp format allows beginners to learn at their own pace through repetition, as more advanced players are separated during drills for a more challenging regimen.

Champions of the Court Basketball Camp

Pearce Community Center will host Champions of the Court Basketball Camp Monday through Friday, July 20 through 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The camp is presented by Inner Circle Sports featuring Coach K and is designed for children ages 7 to 18.

Camp will begin with ball handling and progress into shooting, down low play, and energetic defensive drills. The camp format allows beginners to learn at their own pace through repetition, as more advanced players are separated during drills for a more challenging regimen.

Holiday Basketball Camp with Coach K

Pearce Community Center will host Inner Circle Sport’s Champions of the Court Basketball Camp Monday and Tuesday, December 29 and 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The camp is designed for children ages 6 to 18.

Campers will be coached on technique, conditioning, and overall fundamentals of the game by the professionally skilled staff of Inner Circle Sports Inc. including Coach Ahmed Kabba. Coach K has worked with some of the most elite coaches and has coached at top camps around the country that have been ranked #1 by Sports Illustrated Kids. Focus areas will include dribbling and ball handling; shooting; finishing in the paint; footwork; position development; defense; and speed and agility. Kids will learn shooting including proper form, balanced footwork, defensive reads, and getting a shot off the dribble via attack and shoot moves.

The cost of the two-day camp is $125 per camper; $95 per camper with a team of seven or more.
