Pancakes & Presents the Theme of School's Out Holiday Day Camps

Holiday Day Camps at Pearce were filled with all kinds of fun and excitement.Campers focused on the spirit of giving during the holidays.

Day Camp began with a pancake breakfast for the children. Campers took orders Pearce-wide and asked all the employees if they would like pancakes. The orders piled in, and soon the kiddos were cooking up a storm. All the children helped cook, measure, and pour. Playing real-life restaurant was just too much fun! The children were able to see the smiles on staff members' faces as they delivered breakfast.

Campers also made gifts for their loved ones and a special person at Pearce. When the children were asked who they should make an ornament for, they all chimed "Mrs. Carie!" A gift wrapping station was set up for them all to wrap their gifts. They also wrapped Mrs. Carie's gift and took it down to her when she arrived at work. They were so excited to see what she would think, and of course she loved her pine cone reindeer.
